This is a gorgeous Garnet gem! It does a color shift from a purple in daylight to pink in incandescent. The stone glitters beautifully in the hand and has good light return. It has micro Rutile needles spread throughout the entire stone, which gives it an attractive misty appearance. This tone has been fantasy carved to create the intriguing design! Color change minerals make some of the most fascinating gemstones in the world. The unique ability of these stones to be different colors from room to room is a delighting feature in jewelry. This material came out of Tanzania several years ago, and not much of it is left. This stone was crafted by Allyce Kosnar of Kosnar Gem Co during October 2022. Enjoy!
