Montana Rhodolite Garnet is an excellent American gem material and hard to find. The Ruby River, along with the Ruby River Reservoir, still have a good amount of small gem material that washes up every year. There are actually rubies in the reservoir and can be found at night using a UV light. This match pair of stones were cut from material found in the 1970’s that now cannot be replaced. These are just stunning garnets! They have excellent clarity and beautiful glitter. The color is a saturated cranberry red that is enchanting.
