This is a brilliant Agatized Dinosaur Bone cabochon! Dinosaur bones become fossils when the bone material is replaced with other minerals; in this instance it was partially replaced with agate! Bones are porous, when agate fills in the holes it means you can actually see through spots in the bone! This cabochon will make any piece of jewelry prehistorically unique!
