This gem is just gorgeous!  Now, we rarely cut lab grown or synthetic gemstones, but this flame fusion Ruby Material is really fun to work with! Flame Fusion grown Ruby has been available since 1902, created by Auguste Verneuil.  Since that time, synesthetic Ruby has been sold to meet the high demand for Ruby gemstones.  The chemistry of this material is identical to a perfect natural ruby and has a very similar durability.  The color is caused by Chromium, which is what causes the color in natural Ruby, and these stones are extremely fluorescent like natural ruby!  This stone is phenomenal in hand!  It has a radial pattern that is striking! The table is large and allows for a good view of the fantasy cut features in the pavilion.  The color is as perfect as ruby can be, an iconic vivid Ruby Red!  This stone will make an absolutely stunning piece of jewelry and would be just an incredible pendant stone.  Apprentice cut at Kosnar Gems, Colorado, USA.  Enjoy!
