This beautiful Bi-color Tourmaline from Brazil is an excellent example of the unique nature of Tourmaline.  Multi-color gemstones are something remarkable to see in hand that a stone can naturally be multiple colors at the same time.  This is caused by the chemistry of the chromophores inside the Tourmaline and the growth of the crystals.  The cut is sharp bold rectangle with a fantasy carved stained glass pattern.
